Seniors frequently face challenges in adhering to their medication schedules, which can lead to missed doses and serious health complications, including hospitalization. The purpose of Silver Care for Project 1A was to develop a healthcare assistant app aimed at helping those seniors (age 65+) manage their health independently. By integrating with wearables, the app will send real-time medication reminders, monitor vital signs, and provide emergency alerts directly on the user’s device. This ensures that seniors receive timely notifications and support, enhancing their ability to manage their health – while maintaining their daily routine – with minimal effort.

CONCEPT
Develop a friendly, easy to use platform
The Silver Care app brand was developed with a research-driven focus on accessibility, clarity, and trust, reflecting the needs of seniors and users with varying levels of digital familiarity. Early exploration centered on understanding usability barriers, visual cognition, and interface preferences among older adults, which informed both the visual identity and design system.
Every branding decision—from shape language to color tone—was intentionally chosen to communicate safety, ease of use, and confidence, resulting in an identity that supports both the functional and emotional needs of its audience.
